At Journey of the Self Counselling and Psychotherapy, I deeply value the trust, privacy, and autonomy of every client I work with.
Because of this, I don’t request testimonials during the regular, active phase of weekly therapy.
At natural transition points in our work - such as moving from weekly to fortnightly sessions, or after therapy has ended, I may gently invite feedback --[where it feels clinically appropriate and where I believe a client is emotionally resourced to do so].
This is always entirely optional and offered without pressure or expectation, clients are welcome to decline or simply ignore this invitation, with no impact on their therapy or our work together.
Any words shared are used anonymously and only with full consent, respecting each person’s right to confidentiality and personal agency.
Your healing journey is private and sacred, and I honour that always.
